Growing up in North Carolina, Jordan Mericle spent the majority of her childhood performing wherever and whenever she could. From ten years old she was immersed in vocal studies, mastering styles from classical to musical theatre to pop and rock. Jordan graduated from Elon University with a BFA in Music Theatre and spent a semester in Florence, Italy intensively studying the art of Italian opera.
Her true passion in recording, however, came to fruition when she met producer Alex Houton of AHM Media and six-time Grammy winning mixer, Brian Vibberts. Jordan began to hone her own songwriting skills, largely influenced by favorite artists like Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Michael Jackson, and Grace Potter.
Singing and writing in the New York City music circuit since 2011, Jordan aims to challenge todayʼs mainstream scene with pop/rock styles driven by powerful electric guitar, haunting piano, and gripping melodies, largely invoked in songs like her first single, “Call Me By My Name”. With three original songs streaming on Spotify and seven new singles ready to drop, Jordan continues to channel the raw emotion and powerhouse vocals of the music she grew up loving.
